Vision & Mission

Urged and energized by the love of  Christ, we see those who suffer, those stripped of human rights and dignity, and those in poor health as brothers and sisters with whom we are in solidarity. It is our vision to achieve a more just and caring society through collaboration with others who share our values and are working with us towards achieving our mission.

Our mission is to live more deeply our missionary identity within and beyond our borders and commit ourselves to living closely to our brothers and Sisters most in need, and to combat the causes of poverty in the belief that every person has the right to live in an environment where they have dignity and respect, as well as access to the basic human needs of food, clothing, shelter, medical care and education.

Over the years, the Daughters of Charity in Nigeria have expanded their range of services. However, all activities have the same overall objective: to provide high quality, low cost services for the marginalized and vulnerable, without discrimination of culture, gender or religion.

Support Us
How can I support the services of the Daughters of Charity?
Specifically, this means supporting someone to be empowered – to see, to hear, to speak or walk again, to feel well in themselves both physically and spiritually, to participate in education, in the society and to earn their own living...
