The National Day of the Friends of the Daughters of Charity is an annual event, which brings all the friends of the Daughters of Charity in Nigeria together to interact, pray together,  for formation as well as sharing their common mission as Friends of Daughters of Charity. This year, the event was held on 12th May, 2018 at the Provincial House , with the theme " Identity and mission of the Friends of Daughters of Charity".  Highlights of the occasion included common prayer, opening Mass, meeting, a paper presentation by Sr. Theresa Eke, DC on the theme, questions and answer session, meeting and elections.

The students and pupils of St. Louise's Inclusive Schools, Ikot- Ekpene treated all present to a beautiful dance. It was entertaining indeed! The elections brought back all the past executive members who were dissolved just before the elections commenced. They are:
