WORLD DAY AGAINST HUMAN TRAFFICKING

Nigeria is facing a new form of slave trade in the evil of human trafficking. 


Millions of people are trafficked globally on daily basis despite the physical, emotional, psychological, social and economic consequences both on the individual and on the society at large. 


The 30th of July every year is set aside as the World Day against Trafficking in Persons.


The UNDOC invites us this year (2022) to reflect on The USE AND ABUSE OF TECHNOLOGY as our theme for the Celebration.  


As Anti-Trafficking Advocates, let us use every available opportunity to enlighten our people on the theme for this year and also to sensitize them on the evil of trafficking in persons which has eaten deep into the fabric of our society due to its lucrative nature
